Social Responsability Policy

Ubiwhere, as a socially responsible organization, considers, in the decisions it makes, the impact it has on the society in which it operates and the environment in which it operates. Thus, it believes and recognizes that its performance in the market is based not only on the economic dimension, but also technological, environmental and human.

Goal

Through this Social Responsibility Policy, it is planned to assume a transparent loyalty to the management and development of an efficient and responsible business model, described by a strong social component.

Scope of Application:

This code has a global application to the whole Ubiwhere universe, specifically:

  • . Ubiwhere and all companies in which it has a leading participation, regardless of where they are situated and the type of activity, they carry out;
  • . All administrators, managers and other employees of companies incorporated in Ubiwhere, Lda.

Operating Principles:

Ubiwhere is dedicated to follow a sustainable action, fulfilling all social obligations and responsibilities towards all stakeholders through the subsequent principles:

1. Government of Organisations:
Ubiwhere guides its relations with stakeholders based on principles of integrity, ethics and transparency, namely through:

Sharing corporate policy, established objectives and performance achieved in different aspects of sustainable development;

Acting with loyalty and good faith in relations with its business partners, through clear and objective communication, in order to guarantee a long-term relationship established on trust;

Ensuring excellence in the quality of the products and services it provides;

Exclusion of any abuse and bribery, corruption or money laundering companies by any way.

Provide the constant efficiency of organisational processes, looking for constant improvement and innovation in all phases and processes, adopting technological solutions that safeguard the economic and environmental sustainability of the company.

2. Labor Practices:

Professional training and human resource development: Guide talent’s management through a culture of systematic development of skills and promotion of capabilities, following market reference practices.

Occupational Health, Hygiene and Safety: Provide a safe, healthy and well-being environment, ensuring compliance with legislation and ensuring the development of acceptable occupational health and safety management systems.

Protection of Rights: 
Organization’s commitment to human rights, in harmony with the highest international standards:

  • . Universal Declaration of Human Rights;
  • . International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights;
  • . International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights;
  • . ILO Declaration on fundamental principles and rights at work and the eight fundamental conventions established by it;
  • . Agreement of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.

Inhibition of any unjustified discrimination or different treatment based on ethnic or social origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, marital status, disability, political orientation, opinion, naturalness or union association, nurturing diversity, social inclusion and an adequate, dignified and professional work’s environment;

Respect, promote and guarantee proper working conditions and do not allow acts of psychological violence and moral coercion.
