Ubiwhere hosts event about the future of mobility in Portugal with the opening of the Route 25 CCAM Open Lab

Ubiwhere

Ubiwhere is preparing the event ’’Route to the Future: O caminho para os Territórios Inteligentes’’, which will take place on the morning of the 30th of April at Ubiwhere’s headquarters in the city of Aveiro. This initiative aims to lead all participants towards the future of connected and autonomous mobility in Portugal by demonstrating innovative solutions and projects to create smart territories.

"Route to the Future: O caminho para os Territórios Inteligentes" is an upcoming Ubiwhere event focused on the Route 25 project. Much of the technological evolution that Ubiwhere employs in its solutions comes from its involvement in Research and Development consortiums. One of the biggest examples is the Route 25 project, an Agenda for Mobility, which brings together many public and private entities for the technological and innovative development of Mobility in Portugal.

Route 25 is an Agenda for Autonomous, Intelligent, Interoperable, and Inclusive Mobility that aims to place the Portuguese industry at the top of the mobility value chain. This project is ready to shape the future of mobility and provide the communication and sensing infrastructure to enable autonomous driving to be deployed in different types of cities.

The 30th of April will be remembered for the inauguration of Ubiwhere’s Route 25 CCAM Open Lab. With a background in the technological development of solutions for smart mobility, Ubiwhere is inaugurating this unique structure for the collaborative development of technologies in this field. The Route 25 CCAM Open Lab is a space dedicated exclusively to developing ongoing tasks related to the Route 25 project. The lab comprises a 5G-CCAM test chamber and a 5G Command, Control and Teleconduction cockpit, which are now at the service of the feasibility study, proof of concept and iterative validation of technological solutions that contribute to transforming mobility standards in Portugal. Four CCAM (Cooperative, Connected and Autonomous Mobility) solutions are currently being developed in the laboratory.

All those interested in the debate on Mobility and how technology can contribute to a more autonomous, intelligent, interoperable and inclusive Mobility are invited to participate, namely companies, public authorities, city councils, universities, research centres and associations.

Participation in this event is free: you can register using this form.
