Suiting the future of mobility: Ubiwhere presented the project Route 25 at Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2024 in Dublin!
The Transport Research Arena (TRA) is Europe’s largest research and innovation (R&I) conference about transport and mobility. From April 15th to 18th, Ubiwhere exhibited our mobility projects at this leading European event covering all aspects of mobility. During these days, under this edition’s theme, “Transport Transitions: Advancing Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility”, we proved that Ubiwhere is suiting the future of mobility with our projects and digital solutions.
With the main goal of driving innovation and changing the future of mobility, Ana Pereira, Head of R&I, and Sandra Barnabé, Innovation Manager, promoted our mobility projects, such as Route 25, showcased the Digital Nervous System Testbed as a digital solution to boost the smart mobility and actively participated in sessions about Mobility in the Innovation and Incubation Zone by Google:
- "Route 25 - The Portuguese Technological Ecosystem Paving the way for Inclusive Mobility" - Sponsored by Ubiwhere with the intervention of Sandra Barnabé;
- "Presentation on AI in Transport followed by an industry panel" - Sponsored by Google with the participation of Ana Pereira;
- "Advancing seamless mobility in Europe with multi-modal data sharing" - Presentation of TEADAL project at UITP’stand with the intervention of Ana Pereira.
Ubiwhere is a member of Route 25’s consortium. This project is an agenda for Autonomous, Intelligent, Interoperable, and Inclusive Mobility that aims to place the Portuguese industry at the top of the mobility value chain, making it ready to shape the future of mobility and providing the communication and sensing infrastructure to enable autonomous driving to be deployed in different types of cities. Route 25 focuses on cooperation between public transportation and assisted and autonomous vehicles at street and fleet management levels.
Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2024 offered a great venue for researchers, policymakers, and industry representatives to meet and contribute to the discussion on how research and innovation can reshape the transport and mobility system. For Ubiwhere, this experience was an excellent opportunity to show that Ubiwhere is suiting the future of mobility!
