We were awarded SME Excellence 2013
We have been awarded with the SME Excellence 2013 status, a business qualification status promoted by IAPMEI, in partnership with Tourism of Portugal and the main Portuguese Banks.
After being ranked in 2013 as one of the top 5 portuguese technological companies of EMEA promoted by Deloitte, recognized as SME Leader (PME Líder) by IAPMEI and ranked, already in 2014 as one of the 100 best companies to work in Portugal in a study from Accenture and Exame Magazine, now we can see our work recognized with the status of SME Excellence (PME Excelência) 2013.
The ceremony was held at Europarque in Santa Maria da Feira on the 6th of February 2014, with the presence of the Minister of Economy and the Secretary of State of Innovation, Investment And Competitiveness.
The SME Excellence status is a recognition aimed at small and medium companies with superior performance profiles, allowing them to benefit from better access to financial products and from a network of services.
The selection is based on the group of SMEs Leaders that additionally meet the following criteria:
- Belonging to the first 2 levels of rating (AAA or AA), based on the Annual Report of 2012;
- Comply with the following financial criteria, supported in the financial statements of 2012;
- Financial Autonomy > = 35%;
- Turnover growth compared to 2011> = 5%;
- Return on Equity > = 10%;
- Return on Assets > = 3%.

From a universe of 300.000 SME’s (approximately), 7.000 have been awarded the SME Leader status and from these 1.100 were awarded SME Excellence.
