Ubiwhere’s Journey at Smart City Expo World Congress 2021

The event

There were more than 400 exhibitors, and 300 speakers in the multiple sessions presented. Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), the world event on Smart Cities and urban solutions organised by the Fira de Barcelona, has once again brought together the world of urban innovation to celebrate its tenth anniversary.

Considered the most significant global event in the Smart Cities sector and under the motto "We are the cities we make", during three days, some topics were reflected: the transformation that cities are undergoing in the wake of the pandemic and the need to adapt cities to the needs of its citizens even more than before.

Ubiwhere, for the 7th consecutive time, was there, with one of the most dynamic and captivating stands. This fair brought together leading experts and international reference companies, such as Huawei, Microsoft, Motorola, Seat and Ubiwhere, who shared scientific knowledge and disclosed the main challenges of urban transformation.

Our presence and the international spotlight on the TURINGRANADA project

From the Urban Platform to the Smart Lamppost or the Mobility Catalogue, we aimed to showcase our solutions for more innovative and more sustainable cities. Our professionals demonstrated our vision, answers, and how our products can be efficient city management tools!

Ubiwhere was present at this international event to give wings to one of its greatest missions: improving citizens’ quality of life.

The proof of our persistence, effort and commitment was the international highlight given to one of our most recent projects, TURINGRANADA, focused on the Smart Tourism theme. It is in our DNA to be pioneers, and this project is living proof of that!

During the thematic session on "Digital Services that Transform Urban Life", Sandra Baer was one of the notable speakers who talked about "What are the latest trends in digital services that are transforming urban life?" And to our satisfaction, the expert spoke about the concept of Tourism 360º and demonstrated one of Ubiwhere’s latest projects as a great example: the TURINGRANADA.

This project offers digital services and provides numerous possibilities to access information. Ubiwhere is proof of innovation: we are building the future!

In line with the slogan of this year’s edition of the event - "We are the cities we make", Ubiwhere proved that its solutions create impact and help make them more intelligent, more accessible, more comfortable and, above all, with more quality of life.

Twelve people flew to Barcelona to show our identity. From concept to construction, from logistics to communication: everything was thought out and executed by us.
