POCITYF

The main goal of POCITYF is to assist the Lighthouses Cities Évora and Alkmaar and their fellow cities, on their energy optimisation needs, making their urban environment safer, cleaner and more efficient. POCITYF intends to offer inclusive and holistic services while establishing cooperation between the city’s citizens and stakeholders. To this end, there will be a demonstration of 10 solutions, integrated across each city’s Smart Platform to focus on the local penetration of renewable energy sources, energy-saving and reduction of carbon emissions.

POCITYF will monitor and evaluate the solutions, aligning them with the interests of various stakeholders, enabling its improvement and applicability. The solutions and respective values will be displayed in a roadmap for sustainable cities. We will mainly support Évora’s clean energy transition through the deployment of our solutions Smartlamppost, Urban Platform and Smart PAYT. Integrating data and the solutions will foster several opportunities for new innovative services in different domains that improve the city’s performance in Energy and Mobility.
