ACTIVAGE will build the first European IoT ecosystem for Smart Living across nine Deployment Sites in seven European countries
ACTIVAGE is a European Multi Centric Large-Scale Pilot on Smart Living Environments with the main goal of building the first European IoT ecosystem, reusing and scaling up open and proprietary IoT platforms, technologies, standards and integrating new interfaces needed to provide interoperability across these platforms. The project enables the deployment of Active & Healthy Ageing (AHA) IoT-based solutions and services, to extend the autonomy of the elderly in their living environments, and respond to real needs of caregivers, service providers and public authorities.
CUFIoT4AHA (CUF Internet of Things for Active and Healthy Ageing) is one of the winning proposals of the second open call of the ACTIVAGE project, bringing together Ubiwhere, José de Mello Saúde (JMS), Promptly and the VOH.CoLAb to expand the ACTIVAGE Ecosystem with a New Deployment Site in Lisbon, Portugal.
Ubiwhere’s main responsibility is to provide an integrated and interoperable IoT platform to collect and harmonise data on the status and clinical conditions of the elderly to identify relevant situations and trigger emergency events.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 732679
