«Welcome to the New Urban Era» with Ubiwhere at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2023
The Smart City Expo World Congress is the world’s largest and most influential event on urban innovation. Fira Barcelona will host this event from the 7th to the 9th of November. Ubiwhere will present digital solutions for smart cities, such as the Urban Platform, for another year. It’s time to build a new urban era for cities with the digital transition to create intelligent territories!
"Welcome to the new urban era!" is the theme of the 2023 edition of the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona, "a great edition that will go beyond dreams and inspiration" to show the world the smart solutions shaping this new era. These solutions are helping cities thrive and create safer, greener and more efficient urban spaces. At this year’s Smart City Expo World Congress, Ubiwhere intends to promote the Urban Platform, the leading Smart Cities product developed by the technology company.

In this digital transition period, the Urban Platform is a software solution that responds precisely to the unified vision needed for the intelligent territories of tomorrow. Today, this is a solid solution on the market, ready to redefine the Smart Cities industry, aiming to improve the quality of life for citizens and visitors themselves. A digital platform with infinite possibilities that is constantly developing and evolving.
The Urban Platform, through the integration of data from different domains and the interoperability of information systems, is a privileged decision-support tool for the municipality’s technicians and decision-makers, adapting to the reality of each city and with the potential to evolve. It is the centrepiece for creating a Data Centre that understands all the realities of the territory, making a decisive contribution to Territorial Intelligence and the materialisation of a digital transition policy as an engine for development.
Besides the App already developed for citizens, Ubiwhere is turning the Urban Platform into a self-service analytical platform. In other words, it will be possible for a user without high-level computer skills to import and manage new data and integrations on the platform without intervening in the already developed platform. This demonstration scenario can be seen in person at the Ubiwhere’s stand at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2023 in Barcelona.
- Smart PAYT, Mobility Catalogue and Digital Nervous System Testbed
Alongside the Urban Platform, Ubiwhere will showcase Smart PAYT, an urban waste management solution for smart cities, and the Mobility Catalogue, with demonstrations of mobility projects produced by Ubiwhere.
The Digital Nervous System Testbed by Ubiwhere, a campus for SMEs and start-ups to develop and test innovative product and service ideas, will be presented and explained for the first time at the Ubiwhere’s stand, offering services using computing continuum, 5G, IoT-edge-to-cloud and zero-touch automation technologies. The Digital Nervous System Testbed by Ubiwhere will be displayed as a product with an impact on supporting digital innovation at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2023.
