Ubiwhere will participate in ENCEEC 2026 with a presentation on Smart Mobility and Smart Cities
Ubiwhere will participate in the National Meeting of the College of Civil Engineering Speciality (ENCEEC 2026), organised by the Portuguese Order of Engineers, which will be held on the 28th of February at the António Cupertino de Miranda Foundation in Porto. Under the theme “Axes of Progress: Housing, Urban Mobility and Infrastructure”, the event will bring together leading experts, researchers, companies and decision-makers to reflect on the decisive role of Civil Engineering in shaping how societies live, work and move, in a context of ongoing urban transformation.
Ubiwhere will be represented by Nuno Ribeiro, our co-CEO, who will join Panel 2 – ’The Dilemma of Sustainable Mobility in Portugal’ in a roundtable moderated by Paula Teles, CEO of MPT – Mobility and Spatial Planning, Ltd. The presentation, scheduled for 12:35 pm, will address the topic ’Smart Mobility and Smart Cities’ and explore the key challenges and opportunities in urban mobility within the context of the digital and climate transitions.
During his intervention, Nuno Ribeiro will present Ubiwhere’s vision for smarter, more sustainable, and people-centred cities, highlighting technological solutions that promote integrated, data-driven management, operational efficiency, interoperability between systems, and an improved experience for citizens and decision-makers. Particular emphasis will be placed on Ubiwhere’s Urban Platform, a solution that integrates and analyses urban data in real time, supporting strategic decision-making and the creation of innovative digital services. The Route 25 project will also be presented as a flagship initiative demonstrating how the combination of data, connectivity and artificial intelligence can foster more efficient mobility aligned with the objectives of future cities.
More than a conference, ENCEEC 2026 positions itself as a platform for knowledge sharing and strategic vision, bringing together academic, business and policy perspectives to prepare Civil Engineering for the era of speed and connectivity. Ubiwhere’s participation reinforces its commitment to urban innovation and actively contributes to developing solutions that put technology to work for cities and communities.
