Ubiwhere will host the 6G-TWIN General Assembly at the University of Aveiro
On the 10th and 11th of March, Ubiwhere will host the General Assembly of the European 6G-TWIN project at the Connected Intelligence Open Lab by Ubiwhere, at the University of Aveiro, bringing together consortium partners for two days of strategic and technical work.
6G-TWIN aims to develop new structures for the future 6G architecture, going beyond the capabilities of the 5G Service-Based Architecture (SBA). Through a Digital Twin-based approach, the project seeks to create a cyber-physical continuum between the real world and its digital representation, reducing network complexity and improving the user experience in real time.
The first day of the meeting will be dedicated to an overall view of the project. Within the scope of technical management (WP7), discussions will focus on planning the M36 deliverables, financial and risk management, and data management, including the datasets to be generated from the two use cases. Sessions will also address dissemination, communication, and exploitation (WP6), including planning upcoming webinars and the project’s final dissemination activities, such as participation in events like EUCNC.
The agenda further includes discussions on architecture and NDT (WP1 and WP2), an overview of the functional models, the simulation framework (WP3), and the evaluation component (WP5), covering task reviews, KPIs and standardisation aspects. The second day will be entirely dedicated to WP4, with an in-depth focus on the project’s two use cases, aligning technical developments and next steps.
By hosting this General Assembly at the Connected Intelligence Open Lab, Ubiwhere reinforces its commitment to research and innovation in advanced networks, actively contributing to the technological foundations that will underpin the next generation of mobile communications.
