Ubiwhere welcomed students from The Entrepreneurship Academy in Bucharest
On the 9th of October, Ubiwhere opened its doors to welcome students from The Entrepreneurship Academy in Bucharest, Romania. This visit was part of a university programme dedicated to contact with different Portuguese cultural and business environments in the field of entrepreneurship: Ubiwhere was one of the companies chosen for this programme due to its innovative track record and the impact it has been generating in the Portuguese technological ecosystem, especially in the areas of smart cities, connectivity and digital sustainability.
For a month, the Romanian students visited several companies in Porto, Guimarães, Lisbon and Aveiro, intending to learn more about business, business management and entrepreneurship. During this visit, the students, welcomed by Ana Pereira, Head of R&I, and Sandra Barnabé, Innovation Manager, had the opportunity to learn about Ubiwhere’s organisational culture, the projects under development and the strategic vision that guides the company in creating technological solutions that improve the quality of life in cities and promote innovation on a global scale.
This visit provided students with an opportunity to gain valuable insights into Ubiwhere’s entrepreneurial journey, understanding how the company combines technological innovation, collaboration, and strategic vision to address the challenges of modern society. The sharing of experiences and best practices provided a moment of mutual learning, reinforcing Ubiwhere’s role as an inspiring example in the Portuguese business and technological landscape.
