Ubiwhere took part in the 11th National Testbeds Network Meeting
On the 27th of January, Ubiwhere participated in the 11th National Testbeds Network Meeting through the Digital Nervous System Testbed, in an online session that brought together more than 40 representatives of Portuguese Testbeds. The meeting promoted discussion on innovation, collaboration and the regulatory framework within the national technology ecosystem.
The session focused on the ANI - Agência Nacional de Inovação communication issued on the 21st of January regarding the billing model and the application of VAT to services under Article 28 of the GBER. This topic is crucial to ensuring tax compliance, eligibility for PRR funding, and the continuity of project execution.
Ubiwhere will serve as an intermediary between the Testbeds and ANI, centralising information and addressing questions to promote effective alignment among all parties. Ubiwhere was represented at this session by Sofia Almeida, Business Consultant.
Across eleven meetings, Ubiwhere has established itself as one of the key driving forces of the National Testbeds Network, through its representation of the Digital Nervous System Testbed by Ubiwhere. This initiative, funded by the PRR, supports startups and SMEs in developing and testing innovative solutions based on the computing continuum, 5G, IoT edge-to-cloud, and zero-touch automation.
