Ubiwhere took part in Meeting with Companies, a session organised by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Aveiro
On the 16th of May, Ubiwhere took part in the Meeting with Companies, an initiative promoted by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Aveiro, as part of the Master’s in Mathematics and Applications. This initiative created a space to bring students closer to the business world, allowing Ubiwhere to share its journey, areas of activity, and the relevance of mathematics in the development of innovative technological solutions.
The session featured Luís Santos, Software Engineer, who represented Ubiwhere and had the opportunity to introduce our company, our journey, our main areas of activity, and some of the technological challenges that have driven the work developed by our team. During the presentation, projects and products from the areas of smart cities, telecommunications, and research & development were highlighted — fields in which Ubiwhere has been establishing itself through the creation of innovative digital solutions designed to address real challenges and generate a positive impact on society.
Ubiwhere’s participation in this meeting also helped strengthen the connection between academia and the business world, bringing students closer to concrete examples of how mathematical knowledge can be applied in technological environments. Throughout the session, it was possible to demonstrate how mathematics and its applications play an essential role in the development of digital solutions, from data analysis and modelling to systems optimisation and decision-making support.
For Ubiwhere, initiatives such as the Meeting with Companies represent a valuable opportunity to share knowledge, inspire future professionals, and promote direct contact with emerging talent.
