Ubiwhere presents its technological products and digital solutions on the television programme ‘CNN Inovação’
The CNN Portugal's ‘CNN Inovação’ programme presents the solutions of the future and the boldest ideas, driven by the brightest minds in science and technology. On the 2nd and 3rd of November, on the eve of our participation in the Smart City Expo World Congress 2024, Ubiwhere was the protagonist of this programme's broadcast and presented its most impactful solutions, such as the Urban Platform and the Digital Nervous System Testbed.
The episode was recorded at Ubiwhere’s headquarters and the Connected Intelligence Open Lab at the University of Aveiro. It featured Rui A.Costa, co-CEO, Ana Pereira, Head of R&I, and Sandra Barnabé, Innovation Manager at Ubiwhere.
In this programme, Ubiwhere promoted its inspiring work in cities, shared its innovative vision for the cities of the future and presented its Urban Management Platform and Digital Nervous System Testbed:
- The Urban Management Platform is a digital system designed to help manage smart cities. Integrating information from different areas - such as transport, street lighting, waste collection and much more - the platform offers a complete, real-time overview of urban services. This type of monitoring allows managers to identify problems quickly, optimise resource use, and improve citizens’ well-being;
- On the other hand, the Digital Nervous System Testbed represents a unique initiative by Ubiwhere to experiment with and validate emerging technologies. This PRR-funded system is a campus for SMEs and startups to develop and test innovative product and service ideas, offering services using computing continuum, 5G, IoT-edge-to-cloud and zero-touch automation technologies.
