Ubiwhere prepares to welcome young students and entrepreneurs during Poliempreende 2025 week
September will bring an excellent adventure for Ubiwhere: on the 2nd, Poliempreende participants will visit Ubiwhere, meet our team, explore our solutions, and learn about our research and development projects for creating smart cities and territories. This initiative will be coordinated by the University of Aveiro for one week, with Ubiwhere as one of the partner entities.
Poliempreende is an initiative that aims to evaluate and reward projects developed and presented by students, graduates, or teachers from academic institutions through a competition of ideas and business plans. This project began in 2003 and has since progressively integrated a greater number of institutions, becoming a reference at both the national and international levels.
To encourage and stimulate entrepreneurship, as well as provide career opportunities, preferably through self-employment, Poliempreende promotes an entrepreneurial culture, motivating the development of creativity and innovative ideas, and valuing the knowledge generated by all participants in the ideas and business plans competition. And when it comes to innovation, Ubiwhere comes into action!
During Poliempreende week at the University of Aveiro, Ubiwhere will be one of the partners of this event. Students and participants will be involved in activities in the Ubiwhere rooms and will also visit our headquarters on the 2nd of September, where they will be able to meet our team members, learn about our technological solutions, such as the Urban Management Platform, and discover our innovative projects focused on research and development.
With the mission of promoting the development of entrepreneurial skills, the Poliempreende network is sponsored by Ubiwhere, which supports this initiative by fostering the creation of new ideas and businesses, and serving as a national and international benchmark company in the fields of smart cities and telecommunications.
