Ubiwhere organised an Open Class for students of the Sustainable and Smart Cities degree at UTAD
On the 12th of March, Ubiwhere visited the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro for an Open Class for the students of the degree in Sustainable and Smart Cities and the master's degree in Civil Engineering, where they learned about our company and our digital solutions for the sustainable management of a city intending to attract future and potential talent to join our team.
The initiative took place at the School of Science and Technology’s Polo I and brought together students and teachers from both courses, as well as entrepreneurs from the urban planning and tourism fields and students looking for new concepts for their master’s and doctoral theses.
The session, entitled ‘Ubiwhere: Suiting the Future of Smart Cities’, was led by Fábio Oliveira, Communication Specialist at Ubiwhere and Alumni of the Communication Sciences degree course at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, who presented various topics such as Ubiwhere, the Urban Management Platform and digital solutions for more efficient, connected and sustainable cities.
The goal of this activity was to introduce Ubiwhere for a potential future partnership with UTAD, thus promoting the sharing of knowledge between academia and the business sector.
