The OASC Conference 2026 is the main annual event of the Open & Agile Smart Cities (OASC) network, a growing community that brings together more than 150 cities and regions across 30+ countries, with the common goal of developing more open, interoperable and people-centred digital solutions for urban development. Over the years, the OASC Conference has become the main meeting point for public decision-makers, municipal administrators, technology entities and researchers leading the digital transition. The event has travelled to several European cities, from Brussels to Rotterdam, and in 2025 to Tampere, where it was possible to deepen dialogue and strengthen partnerships around common, reusable digital building blocks.

The 2026 edition of the OASC Conference will take place in Fundão, Portugal, and will focus on the role of funding as a driver of digital transformation. The event will explore how funded projects, from European programmes such as Horizon Europe, Digital Europe and Interregional Innovation Investments, to national and regional initiatives, are shaping the future of digital public services and urban infrastructure.
