Ubiwhere and Cluster Habitat Sustentável organise the event «Roteiro da Sustentabilidade: Inteligência e Inovação no Ambiente Urbano»
The Cluster Habitat Sustentável and Ubiwhere co-organise an event framed in the ’’Roteiro da Sustentabilidade’’ initiative on April 28 in Aveiro. In this session, the role of Intelligence and Innovation in cities toward sustainability will focus on presentations, debates and demonstrations of alternative solutions for the urban environment.
The "Roteiro da Sustentabilidade" is an initiative promoted by Cluster Habitat Sustentável. This network aggregates agents of the Habitat value chain in Portugal, whose interest is related to developing, promoting, and optimising sustainable built environments through innovative projects and solutions that respond to current challenges such as the green and digital transition.
To encourage and reflect on sustainability in the urban built environment, Ubiwhere, a technology company focused on the Smart Cities area and associated with the Cluster Habitat Sustentável, jointly launches a session dedicated to "Intelligence and Innovation in the urban environment", integrated into the Roteiro da Sustentabilidade.
The event, scheduled for the afternoon of April 28 in Aveiro, aims to strengthen the visibility of technology and innovation as catalysts for sustainability in cities. The diversified programme of the event includes the intervention of Aveiro, Ílhavo and Santarém City Halls, Abimota, Ubiwhere and LNEG - Laboratório Nacional de Energia e Geologia, which will present models, concepts and practices to accelerate the sustainable development of cities.
The program will also include a pitch session in which the entities Neoturf - Construção e Manutenção de Espaços Verdes, T&T - Multieléctrica, Signinum - Gestão de Património Cultural, CONCEXEC - Arquitetura, Cleanwatts Digital, WADA Solutions, Greenlab, and Areadobras® Engenharia Sustentável, associates of the Cluster Habitat Sustentável, will disclose their most recent projects and solutions aimed at sustainable cities and communities. Besides, a demonstration of a Smart Parking solution in Aveiro, developed by Ubiwhere, is foreseen as an example of innovation and technology applied to cities.
The event "Roteiro da Sustentabilidade: Inteligência e Inovação no Ambiente Urbano" is mainly addressed to political decision-makers, public and private administration staff, and qualified professionals from the areas of Planning, Engineering, Construction and Architecture and members of the Scientific and Technological System. The event takes place on April 28 at 2 p.m. at the Edifício Atlas in Aveiro.
