Ubiwhere

Ubiwhere will be at the launch of the Tourism Intelligence Centre (CIT) – Porto and North, taking place tomorrow, 27th of May, at 4:00 p.m., at Porto Business School, with the participation of Rui A. Costa, co-CEO of Ubiwhere, as a speaker in the round table ‘From data to decision-making: tourism intelligence at the service of destinations’.

Promoted by Porto Business School, CIT – Porto and North is a new infrastructure for intelligence applied to tourism, developed within the scope of the Mobilising Agenda Accelerating and Transforming Tourism. The project aims to transform the data currently circulating within the tourism ecosystem into strategic knowledge, through the integration and analysis of relevant information for the sector, using advanced analytics, predictive models and digital decision-support tools.

Rui A. Costa, co-CEO of Ubiwhere, will participate as a speaker in the round table “From data to decision-making: tourism intelligence at the service of destinations”, scheduled for 4:50 pm. The participation will aim to highlight Ubiwhere’s contribution to the development of digital solutions for smarter, more sustainable and data-driven territories. In this context, Ubiwhere’s Smart Tourism Platform may be highlighted as a solution that supports destination management entities, municipalities and tourism-sector organisations in collecting, analysing and visualising essential information for more informed, efficient and strategic decision-making.

During the event, a protocol will also be signed between Porto Business School and Turismo Porto e Norte de Portugal, strengthening the link between knowledge, technology, territory and the regional tourism ecosystem.

The event will bring together representatives from Porto Business School, Turismo Porto e Norte de Portugal, technology partners and tourism-sector entities, promoting dialogue around the role of data and tourism intelligence in building more competitive and sustainable destinations. Registration is free.
