Route 25 in the spotlight: Ubiwhere will present mobility innovation project at the Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2026
Ubiwhere is set to present the Route 25 project at the upcoming edition of the Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2026, taking place from the 12th to the 14th of May at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa. Recognised as the leading national meeting point dedicated to smart cities and smart territories, the event will bring together municipalities, experts, companies and academic institutions to foster dialogue, knowledge sharing and the development of solutions for the urban future.
Funded by the Portuguese Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), Route 25 is an agenda project focused on Autonomous, Intelligent, Interoperable and Inclusive Mobility, aiming to position the Portuguese industry at the forefront of the mobility value chain. Aligned with the European Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM) strategy, Route 25 seeks to drive the development of technologies that support safe autonomous driving and more efficient, sustainable transport systems. The integration of Internet of Things (IoT), real-time data analytics and artificial intelligence is one of the project’s core pillars, enabling the creation of intelligent infrastructures capable of addressing current urban mobility challenges.
As a member of the consortium, Ubiwhere plays an active role in developing solutions aligned with market and territorial needs, contributing to a more connected, efficient and inclusive mobility ecosystem. During the event, Ubiwhere will play a key role in showcasing Route 25 through the demonstration of several pilot products developed for the project, including the Operations Centre CCAM, the Multi-modal Data-Aware Sensing Platform, Smart Parking solutions and Edge Offloading. These demonstrations will be available at stand 3C01, allowing visitors to experience first-hand the technologies shaping the future of mobility.
Smart, Connected and Autonomous Mobility is now recognised as a fundamental pillar for the success of smart cities and territories. Route 25 reflects this vision by promoting an integrated and efficient transport system, with a direct impact on reducing carbon emissions and improving citizens’ quality of life.
