Ubiwhere will take part in the TICE.PT’s webinar ‘Shaping smart cities through urban data’
The webinar ‘Shaping smart cities through urban data’, organised by TICE.PT, will take place on the 18th of June and will count on Ubiwhere’s participation, aiming to disseminate information about the importance of data for smart cities and communities.
The focus of this online event is to promote reflection on the central role of data in building smart cities and communities, as well as the challenges and opportunities that arise from its use. The webinar will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a welcome message, followed by a presentation on the importance of data for smart cities, featuring Mário Campolargo, former Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Administrative Modernisation.
This will be followed by a roundtable centred on the topic ‘Data in Smart Cities - Opportunity or Challenge?’, where there will be a space to discuss the challenges of data in smart cities and communities. This session will be moderated by TICE.PT and will be attended by representatives from various organisations that are experts in the field of smart cities and telecommunications - Ubiwhere, the CCG/ZGDV Institute, IoTech and IPT.
