ITS Hamburg 2021: Ubiwhere joined FIWARE and presented our unique solutions
During October 11-15, the ITS World Congress event took place in Hamburg, Germany. This initiative is known as the world’s largest conference in intelligent transportation systems (ITS) fields with one main task: strong cooperation with the organizer ERTICO-ITS Europe. Together with FIWARE, Ubiwhere was present at this event and presented some of its most innovative solutions.
Ubiwhere is one of FIWARE’s Gold Members, so it was honoured to participate in this large-scale and highly important event in the mobility area and thus present its solutions, case studies, and projects. This was our first physical event of the year.
During this week we presented the Mobility Catalogue, our MaaS solution for cities, and some of our Future Mobility projects towards more efficient, smart, and sustainable cities. All these innovative and technological solutions were presented by our R&I and Smart Cities Manager, Ricardo Vitorino:
Project Caramel: AI-based cybersecurity for connected and automated vehicles;
Project Ride2Autonomy: autonomous shuttle;
Project GoGreen: improving sustainable transportation.
Ubiwhere is very proud to have been once again at the world’s largest and most prominent event on smart mobility and transport digitalisation, this time together with FIWARE. As a technology company, we exist to help so many cities and municipal service providers break down silos and make transport data digitally accessible for so many different use cases, such as smart parking, traffic efficiency, and on-demand car sharing, open standards, and FIWARE’s open-source technology are key elements in this roadmap to Mobility-as-a-Service. With a common goal to drive forward mobility and the digital transformation of Smart Cities, we thank FIWARE, for the opportunity to partner and demonstrate our products, mission, and projects. The path of sustainability is only possible to do when we have good travelling companions!
