Green Week IPV 2025 - Environmental Sustainability 4.0: Ubiwhere presented research abstract and digital solutions for a sustainable future

On the 29th and 30th of May, Ubiwhere participated in Green Week 2025 at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, an initiative with the theme ‘Environmental Sustainability 4.0’, which focused on the 5th International Workshop ‘Zero Pollution’. At this event, Ubiwhere presented an abstract written by members of our team and showcased its digital solutions and research projects, which aim to build a more sustainable future for everyone.
Green Week 2025 - Environmental Sustainability 4.0 emerged as a forum for innovative and necessary responses, discussing technologies such as computer science and artificial intelligence (AI) to tackle environmental challenges. During Green Week 2025, the 5th Workshop - Towards Zero Pollution, organised by the Department of Environment in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science, took place at the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic of Viseu, with the participation of Ubiwhere.
On May 29th, Ubiwhere participated in the 5th International Workshop, presenting an abstract written by four team members: Ana Pereira, André Duarte, Carolina Viceto, and Sandra Barnabé. Entitled “From Vision to Reality: Towards Zero Pollution in Portuguese Urban Spaces”, the presentation was made by Carolina Viceto, Ubiwhere’s Project Manager. On 30th May, Ana Pereira, Head of R&I at Ubiwhere, was one of the speakers at the Enterprises Pitches Smart Cities, with the theme ‘Urban Management - An Essential Ally in Achieving Zero Pollution’, where she presented Ubiwhere, the Urban Management Platform and sustainable research and development projects such as Route 25.
