Fostering the Digital Transition in Cities and Building Smart Territories: Ubiwhere presents the Urban Platform at the XXVI Congress of the National Association of Portuguese Municipalities
On the 30th of September, Seixal will host the XXVI Congress of the National Association of Portuguese Municipalities at the Cidade da Amora Pavilion. With its ’’From Idea To Product’’ philosophy, Ubiwhere will once again be present at this national event to present the Urban Platform, a solid solution on the market, ready to redefine the Smart Cities industry, with the ultimate aim of improving the quality of life of citizens and visitors themselves.
Ubiwhere is a digital company located in Aveiro, focused on the research and development of innovative technological solutions geared towards the Smart Cities area. Ubiwhere creates and develops information management solutions for cities as a company that focuses on future challenges. Ubiwhere created and developed the Urban Platform, which will be presented in this event, to build smart territories based on the digital transition in cities due to institutional difficulties and the need to adopt tools and solutions that help take advantage of data to support informed and adequate decision-making in city management.
The Urban Platform by Ubiwhere will be presented at the XXVI Congress of the National Association of Portuguese Municipalities in Seixal. The Urban Platform consists of a digital solution offering a unified city vision: the integration of data from different domains and the interoperability of information systems serve as a tool to support political decision-making, adapting to the reality of each city. The implementation of the Urban Platform in the Municipality of Guimarães is recognised as a best practice by the European Commission, and, in addition, this digital solution received the WSA 2021 world reference award in the Government & Citizen Engagement category.
