An experience in digital knowledge sharing: Ubiwhere received a visit from the Cluster TIC Asturias
On the 11th of November, Ubiwhere welcomed a visit from the Cluster TIC Asturias team, composed of representatives from ten regional entities that have joined forces to drive the digital transformation of industry in Asturias. This visit was part of a working day in partnership with CONNECT5 DIH, a Portuguese digital innovation hub. Ubiwhere opened its doors and showcased its flagship products, such as the Urban Platform and other digital solutions for smart cities.
The Cluster TIC Asturias team travelled to Aveiro in partnership with CONNECT5 DIH, a digital innovation entity specialising in IoT, data analysis, cyber-physical systems, connectivity, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, coordinated by TICE.PT and led by Vasco Lagarto and Luís Miguel Silva. During their visit to Aveiro, this team of digital transition experts took the opportunity to discuss best practices in digital innovation and cross-border collaboration.
And since innovation was the topic, one of the mandatory stops was Ubiwhere. After visiting technology centres such as the University of Aveiro, the Instituto de Telecomunicações and the PCI Creative Science Park Aveiro Region, the group visited Ubiwhere, where they were welcomed by Nuno Ribeiro, CO-CEO, Ana Pereira, Head of R&I, and Bruno Feitais, Embedded Engineer, who were responsible for presenting our digital solutions for smart cities, such as the Urban Platform, UbiBox and Ubiwhere Playground, with demonstrations of products developed by our team.
This experience strengthened business ties between Asturias and Portugal and reaffirmed Ubiwhere’s commitment as a driver of digital innovation in the Aveiro region.
