EcoBean: digital innovation in the service of the circular economy

In collaboration with Prio and Delta Cafés, Ubiwhere contributed to the EcoBean project by developing its web portal, strengthening the initiative’s digital presence and supporting its communication and scalability.

The EcoBean project is an innovative approach to sustainability, focusing on the valorisation of spent coffee grounds (SCG) to create sustainable products and chemical solutions.

 

 

This pilot project, launched under the Prio Jump Start 2020 entrepreneurship programme, reflects the partners’ commitment to environmental sustainability, technological innovation and the promotion of the circular economy. As part of Ubiwhere’s contribution, the project’s web portal was developed with a strong focus on UI/UX. The work included creating a consistent graphic style, wireframes, and interfaces aligned with the intended visual identity.

 

In addition, a B2B platform was developed with a focus on agility, ease of use and modularity, ensuring readiness for future evolutions. The integration of advanced tools, such as geolocation features and touch-optimised elements, made the solution more practical and accessible. Throughout the process, the client followed the project’s progress via collaborative tools such as InVision, enabling continuous validation of the proposed solutions.

 

The development of the EcoBean web portal by Ubiwhere reinforced the visibility and credibility of a pioneering initiative in waste valorisation and sustainability promotion.
