A seamless Urban Parking solution
Ubiwhere has developed a platform for managing Urban Vehicle Access Regulations, which are restricted parking zones with limited access, across Porto’s Municipality. These areas have access controlled by bollards that can be lowered to allow vehicles to enter, and there are different user profiles with varying admission rules.
This centralized system, where citizens can register to access the Conditioned Zones according to their user role, consists of a mobile and web client, as well as an administration back-office. In the mobile and web clients, users can register in the platform, access their vehicle’s QR code to access the zones and view metrics such as total parking time, financial movements, etc.; in the back-office, system administrators can validate users’ requests for access.
This platform’s primary beneficiaries are city dwellers, traders, suppliers, emergency vehicles, municipal transport, and taxis, by helping the municipality become more intelligent and have a more modern and digital service. This allows its users to have a better parking experience in cosmopolitan and busy cities like Porto.
