Smart urban mobility management in Lousada with Ubiwhere’s Urban Platform

The Município de Lousada sought an innovative solution to improve urban mobility management, ensuring a system that is more efficient, sustainable, and prepared for future challenges.

The need to integrate diverse data sources made implementing an intelligent, flexible platform essential.

To address this challenge, Lousada implemented Ubiwhere’s Urban Platform, a modular, integrated solution that centralises and harmonises data from multiple sources, ensuring the integration of mobility systems, smart signalling, and other urban solutions.

 

 

Although initially implemented with a focus on mobility, the platform was designed with a scalable architecture, allowing it to be extended to other areas of urban management. With the deployment of Ubiwhere’s Urban Platform in Lousada, the Municipality now benefits from a digital solution that integrates real-time data and supports territory management.

 

In urban mobility, the solution has contributed to smarter traffic and transport management, helping reduce congestion and waiting times. At the same time, increased connectivity between urban systems has enabled more streamlined, efficient management of municipal services, promoting a city that is more connected, resilient, and prepared for future challenges.

 

The implementation of this solution positions Lousada as a leader in the development of Smart City solutions, improving the quality of life of both residents and visitors. Through this initiative, the Municipality strengthens its innovation strategy, ensuring more efficient mobility and preparing for the future challenges of digital transformation.
