Developed by Ubiwhere, the project aims to strengthen the competitiveness of local businesses and increase the region’s attractiveness by promoting modern, sustainable retail.

By creating an integrated digital ecosystem, Cais das Flores introduces new dynamics to proximity retail, integrating digital solutions with smart infrastructure in the urban environment. At the heart of this transformation is a comprehensive technological solution that enables retailers to expand their digital presence and diversify their customer engagement channels. Providing an online marketplace and a dedicated mobile application creates a single access point to the local commercial offering, facilitating the discovery of shops, products, and campaigns while strengthening the connection between retailers and consumers.

 

The digital component is complemented by technology embedded within the territory, enhancing the physical experience. The use of beacons enables the delivery of contextualised, personalised information to users, while installing smart lockers introduces greater flexibility for parcel collection. In parallel, environmental monitoring using air quality and noise sensors supports more sustainable management and promotes the well-being of those who live, work, or visit the district.

 

All infrastructure is supported by a centralised digital platform integrated with Ubiwhere’s Urban Platform, enabling the management, control, and monitoring of the digital commercial district, as well as the real-time collection and analysis of data, providing an integrated overview of the district’s overall performance.
