Ubiwhere is looking for a highly motivated BIM Champion to lead and drive Building Information Modeling (BIM) adoption and innovation within our portfolio of software solutions. The BIM Champion will be responsible for developing and integrating BIM-based solutions that enhance construction industry workflows through cutting-edge technology. This role will focus on research, development, and implementation of digital solutions that optimize design, construction, and operational efficiency.
A day in Ubiwhere as a BIM Champion - Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and integration of BIM-based digital solutions for the construction industry.
- Collaborate with software developers, data scientists, and AEC professionals to create innovative BIM-driven applications.
- Research and implement emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and cloud computing in BIM workflows.
- Define and execute BIM strategies, standards, and workflows that align with digital transformation goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and open BIM standards for software interoperability.
- Provide training and support to internal teams and clients on the use of BIM technologies.
- Drive BIM adoption through digital platforms, automation, and process optimization.
- Conduct market research and stay up to date with advancements in digital construction methodologies.
- Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and technology teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in BIM implementation, digital construction, and software development within the AEC industry.
- Expertise in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, or other relevant platforms.
- Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools, Common Data Environments (CDE), and interoperability frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, innovation mindset, and ability to work in an agile environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to promote BIM adoption and provide effective training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in BIM methodologies (e.g., buildingSMART Certification).
- Experience with cloud-based BIM solutions.
- Understanding of digital twin technology and IoT integration in construction workflows.
- Strong understanding of coding/scripting for BIM automation (e.g. Dynamo, Python, or similar languages).
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and data analytics in the context of digital construction.
